2025 East Bay Regionals

  • We ended our 2025 Reefscape season with a huge bang this year! We managed to achieve an EPA of 47, putting us just outside the top 60 teams in California. We also ended up winning the Rising All Star award, marking our third award win in team history! By the numbers, this was our most sucessful comp in team history

  • Despite some early issues, we managed to qualify for our second round of playoffs in a row, becoming the 2nd pick of Alliance 6. Although we got eliminated quickly, it was a fulfilling experience and a great way to cap off a terrific season. Thank you to our alliance partners team 8852 Drew Robotics, and team 6059 System Overload Robotics

  • After losing half our team and starting fresh with new leadership, the beginning of our season was nothing short of chaotic. But things only got more challenging. In the spring of 2024, a fire damaged our makerspace, Humanmade, putting the space out of commission for several months. As the season kicked off, we were juggling a brand-new leadership team, limited funding, and the ongoing recovery from the fire. Despite these setbacks, our team persevered. We're proud to share that our hard work and resilience were officially recognized with the Rising All Star Award. This honor not only reflects the obstacles we overcame but also celebrates who we are—a young, passionate, and growing community team.

2025 San Francisco Regionals

  • We participated in the 2025 FRC San Francisco Regionals. We achieved our highest EPA in team history and ranked among the top 250 in the world in average autonomous points. We were able to make playoffs along with our alliance partners 5104 and 5700!

  • Our team qualified for the playoffs as the 1st pick of the 8th alliance! Although we got eliminated early on, our team got to experience playoffs for the first time in 2 years, and for many of us, it was the first time

2024 East Bay Regionals

  • SF Unity is grateful for the experience gained from going to two regionals this year. The second of which was East Bay Regionals. At EBR, we rebranded our robot to become Phoenix. It was there that we rose from the ashes of SFR and placed 22nd out of 60 teams!

2024 San Francisco Regionals

  • In our 2nd season, we debuted our Sutro robot at San Francisco Regionals. Unfortunately, we placed 43rd out of 43 teams. We were disappointed, as we knew that we could have done better. Due to an extended design process which led to rushing during fabrication, our robot malfunctioned several times. However, we look back on SFR fondly, as it serves as a learning experience.
